[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Dongdaemun-gu (Mayor You Deok-yeol) is conducting the "2020 Comprehensive Civil Service Office Usage Satisfaction Survey" for three weeks until the 27th to identify inconveniences and improvement requests felt by residents during the use and processing of civil service at the Comprehensive Civil Service Office, check the actual status of civil service from the perspective of the residents, and proactively provide the civil services desired by the residents.
This survey is conducted both on-site at the Comprehensive Civil Service Office on the first floor of the district office and on the district office website. Anyone who has experience using Dongdaemun-gu's civil services and the Comprehensive Civil Service Office facilities, including civil petitioners and visitors, can participate.
The survey items include ▲ease of access and smoothness of the civil service processing process ▲responsiveness and expertise of the staff in charge ▲environment and convenience of facility use at the civil service office ▲sufficiency and promptness of guidance during the processing.
The results of the 2020 Comprehensive Civil Service Office Usage Satisfaction Survey will be used as basic data to understand what civil administrative services residents want from the demand side, meeting the increasingly high expectations of civil petitioners, and to create a "Happy Civil Service Office Communicating with Residents" that residents and staff build together.
Previously, in the satisfaction survey conducted in the second half of 2019, staff expertise and responsiveness each received high scores of 91.7 and 91.4 points, respectively, while the comfort of the environment received a somewhat disappointing score of 87.2 points.
Based on this, the district improved the environment of the Comprehensive Civil Service Office in 2020 and created a pleasant environment where many residents can rest by linking the Comprehensive Civil Service Office with the Dongdaemun Chaekmadang Library, a complex cultural space combining a library, book cafe, and residents' resting area.
Along with this, various suggestions from the survey were actively reflected, such as placing unmanned civil service issuance machine assistants requested by civil petitioners, improving indoor lighting, and installing printers for civil petitioners.
