After continuously supporting the future generation of youth, it has recently expanded its sponsorship projects by showing interest in sharing activities for socially marginalized groups in local communities.
According to the financial investment industry on the 10th, Korea Investment & Securities has been selecting about 50 talented students annually in the fields of academics, arts, and sports since 2013 in partnership with the Green Umbrella Children’s Foundation, providing support for developing their talents and aptitudes. It supports the talent development of children who have dreams and passion for learning but are forced to give up their dreams due to difficult circumstances. So far, it has supported students showing talents in various fields such as figure skating, cycling, and piano. These students continue to pursue their dreams by demonstrating their talents in their respective fields, such as serving as youth representative athletes or winning various competitions.
Since 2008, Korea Investment & Securities has partnered with FC Seoul professional football team to hold the annual "Sharing Happiness Children’s Soccer Class," inviting low-income elementary school students. FC Seoul players serve as instructors, providing various soccer lessons including basic skills training and mini soccer games. All participating children receive personalized uniforms and soccer shoes, soccer balls signed by players, and commemorative shirts, which have received great responses.
Every winter vacation, meals and various cultural experience opportunities are provided to low-income elementary school students who are at risk of hunger and neglect due to school meal suspensions. This has been ongoing for eight years. Through diverse cultural activities such as performances, camps, and exhibition visits, efforts are made to help children spend their leisure time richly and meaningfully. Last year, a donation was also made for the construction of the Salvation Army Seoul Welfare Center futsal stadium.
To practice sharing, a "Matching Grant System" involving employees is also operated. The company matches the amount donated monthly by employees to create a fund for contribution projects. The "Chambut Sharing Volunteer Group," voluntarily launched by employees, currently involves about 150 employees from the headquarters and nationwide sales branches, conducting volunteer activities for marginalized neighbors and children. The "Mural Painting with Children" activity, which has been carried out for three years, is a program led by the "Chambut Sharing Volunteer Group" to renovate aging welfare center buildings in local communities with murals.

Meanwhile, Korea Investment & Securities actively practiced social contribution activities to lead the overcoming of the crisis even amid economic difficulties caused by the spread of COVID-19. In March, it donated 1 billion KRW to the National Disaster Relief Association to share the pain and overcome the crisis caused by COVID-19. Earlier in February, when a blood supply crisis occurred due to the prolonged COVID-19 situation, employees including President Jung Il-moon and Labor Union Chairman Park Jong-bae held an emergency relay blood donation event. President Jung said, "Upon hearing that the domestic blood supply was in an emergency due to the spread of COVID-19 infection, we prepared a group blood donation to help overcome the difficult situation."
