Hankyung Research Institute Hosts 'Labor Reform Measures Roundtable' with Former Labor Minister Kim Daehwan
[Asia Economy Reporter Dongwoo Lee] The Korea Economic Research Institute announced on the 10th that it will hold a "Labor Reform Measures Roundtable with Former Minister of Labor Kim Daehwan" at the Yeouido Federation of Korean Industries Conference Center on the 18th.
This roundtable seeks labor reform measures that can respond to the changing labor environment in the era of the 4th Industrial Revolution, characterized by digitalization, which has been accelerated by the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
The roundtable will feature Professor Emeritus Kim Daehwan of Inha University, who served as Minister of Labor (now Ministry of Employment and Labor) during the Roh Moo-hyun administration and as Chairman of the Tripartite Commission (now the Economic, Social and Labor Council) during the Park Geun-hye administration. The session will be moderated by Kwon Tae-shin, President of the Korea Economic Research Institute.

The roundtable will be held in the Emerald Room on the 3rd floor of the Yeouido Federation of Korean Industries Conference Center, and those wishing to attend can apply through the Korea Economic Research Institute website.
