Ansan (鞍山) in Seodaemun-gu, a favorite spot for hikers, is one of the 100 non-face-to-face tourist destinations nationwide selected by the Korea Tourism Organization, where visitors can enjoy a walk while maintaining social distancing.
During the festival, visitors can appreciate 25 artworks inspired by elements from the poem "Seosi," such as the sky, leaves, wind, and stars.
To this end, 25 artists residing in or based in Seodaemun-gu participated.
This year, artists who had fewer opportunities to present their works due to social distancing will meet many citizens through their creations at this cultural festival.
Moon Seok-jin, Mayor of Seodaemun-gu, said, "This cultural festival, where beautiful nature and paintings reinterpreting Yun Dong-ju’s poetry harmonize in the deepening autumn, will be a good opportunity to take a break from daily life, go for a walk, and reflect."
