Nondassong Donates Busking Earnings to Underprivileged Groups, Gaining Attention
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] There is a busking group that practices sharing by donating a portion of the proceeds from their performances to underprivileged groups, drawing attention.
Formed last summer, Nondassong is a group of musicians with 20 years of experience who came together to revitalize busking in the romantic port city of Mokpo.
As a team capable of various performances such as solo shows, duets, trios, and acoustic bands, they hold regular performances with Mokpo Bridge as the backdrop, and perform at numerous festivals and busking events such as the Byeongeo Festival in Sinan County, donating part of the proceeds to open a new busking culture in Mokpo.
Each member has appeared at representative Mokpo festivals such as the Sunset Festival, Port Festival, and Yudalsan Flower Festival, gaining great responses and building a strong fan base.
President Yoon Sun-young, who actively promotes the group and released the first album song for you in 2018, started busking to help leukemia patients in 2014.
They have gone through many difficulties and hard times in Mokpo, where busking culture was unfamiliar, to reach the present.
