Gyeongnam National University Wins aT President's Award at the 4th Food and Foodservice Industry Student Paper Competition

View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kang Woo-kwon] The Department of Food Service Franchise at Gyeongnam National University recently won the Excellence Award, the aT President's Award, at the 4th University Student Food and Food Service Industry Thesis Competition Utilizing Food Service Industry Information.
Now in its 4th year, this competition is held nationwide by the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs and the Korea Agro-Fisheries & Food Trade Corporation to increase interest among young people in the domestic food service industry and to discover outstanding talents.
A total of 71 theses were submitted to the competition, and after four rounds of evaluation, the final 10 award-winning works were selected.
Third-year students Lee Seung-yeon, Jo Yoon-seo, and Hyun Ji-hye from the Department of Food Service Franchise, under the guidance of Professor Lee Myung-sung, presented a thesis titled "A Study on the Classification of Characteristics of Delivery Service Quality Factors in Food Service Businesses: Focusing on the Kano Model."
The judges evaluated the research as having a very high applicability of results by establishing a systematic logical structure and conducting professional analytical methods, awarding it the aT President's Award, which corresponds to 2nd place overall.
