LG Chem Labor and Management Donate Solar Power Facilities to Village Halls in Daesan Area
[Asia Economy Reporter Park So-yeon] LG Chem labor and management announced on the 4th that they donated a solar power generation facility to the Gieun 2-ri village hall near the Daesan Plant in Seosan-si, Chungnam.
At the donation ceremony, LG Chem Vice Chairman Shin Hak-cheol, Daesan Labor Union Chairman Song Ho-seop, Chief Human Resources Officer (CHO) Executive Director Kim Seong-min, and Daesan Plant Resident Executive Director Kim Dong-on attended as representatives of labor and management.
LG Chem explained that the installation of this solar power generation facility can save more than 7,000 kW of electricity annually.
LG Chem, conducting the eco-friendly social contribution activity 'LG Green Chemi Project' jointly with labor and management, plans to additionally donate solar power generation facilities to four welfare facilities near business sites including Ochang and Iksan by the end of this year, starting with the Daesan Plant.
