Achievements in Industrial Site Disinfection and Non-Face-to-Face Corporate Support to Overcome the COVID-19 Crisis
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heeyoon] The Korea Industrial Complex Corporation announced on the 4th that it has been selected as an excellent case of public institution innovation under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
This public institution innovation excellence competition was held targeting 40 public institutions under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. Among more than 400 submitted cases, seven excellent cases were selected after evaluation.
The case selected as an excellent example in the participation and social value category, "Support for Overcoming the COVID-19 Crisis for Companies in Industrial Complexes," focuses on the establishment of quarantine support centers in industrial complexes and the achievements of non-face-to-face support for resident companies.
At the early stage of the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), the Korea Industrial Complex Corporation established 26 quarantine support centers nationwide to prevent group infections within industrial complexes and provided hygiene supplies to small and medium-sized enterprises and knowledge industry centers within the complexes.
Additionally, the corporation converted recruitment fairs for resident companies in the industrial complexes to an online untact format, and has been conducting various non-face-to-face support activities such as video export consultations and on-site export consulting visits.
