Hanwha Systems Wins IT Service Operation Contract Worth 11 Billion KRW from Dongyang Life Insurance
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki-min Lee] Hanwha Systems ICT division announced on the 3rd that it has won an IT service outsourcing project worth approximately 11 billion KRW for Dongyang Life Insurance.
Hanwha Systems will operate Dongyang Life's overall IT systems, web services, and mobile applications for about 36 months from next year through 2023.
Hanwha Systems explained that it won this project due to its proven know-how and capabilities in operating IT systems in the financial insurance sector, including Mirae Asset Life Insurance and AIG General Insurance.
Hanwha Systems plans to actively participate in the expanding non-face-to-face business environment in the financial industry due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
