View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Kyung-pil] Wando-gun, Jeollanam-do (County Governor Shin Woo-cheol) announced on the 2nd that all 311 workers at nursing facilities in the area tested negative in a full COVID-19 screening.
This was conducted to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and protect high-risk facilities and groups, following the recent outbreak of 53 confirmed cases at the H nursing hospital in the Busan area and sporadic small-scale confirmed cases within Jeollanam-do.
The Wando County Health and Medical Center conducted full testing of 311 workers at 12 nursing facilities in the area from the 22nd to the 29th of last month through mobile screening clinics by region, and all tested negative after being analyzed by the Jeollanam-do Health and Environment Research Institute.
