Seoul Reports 25 New COVID-19 Cases Yesterday... Additional Cases from Cluster Infections

View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] On the weekend, the number of confirmed cases of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) in the Seoul area increased by 25 in one day.
Seoul City announced on the 2nd at midnight that the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Seoul increased by 25 compared to midnight the previous day, bringing the total cumulative confirmed cases to 6,081.
Among these new confirmed cases, 7 were classified as cluster infection cases, 11 had contact with confirmed patients, 5 were imported cases, and 2 cases are under investigation for their infection routes.
Among the cluster infections, 3 were related to the Dongdaemun-gu Ace Hope Care Center (total 13 in Seoul), 2 related to Seoul music lessons (total 17), 1 from Gangnam-gu Lucky Sauna (total 35), and 1 related to a family in Yeongdeungpo-gu (including a construction site in Songpa-gu, total 14) were additionally confirmed positive.
So far in Seoul, 5,500 people have been declared recovered and discharged, and 503 are currently receiving isolation treatment.
