[Photo] Autumn View from Gokjang Observatory on Bukaksan Mountain
On the 1st, citizens are enjoying the autumn atmosphere while walking and admiring the scenery at Gokjang Observatory on the northern trail of Bukaksan Mountain behind Cheongwadae in Jongno-gu, Seoul, which was opened for the first time in 52 years. The northern trail of Bukaksan Mountain, opened on this day, had been restricted since the 1968 Kim Shin-jo incident (January 21st Incident) but was developed into a walking trail, allowing the general public to explore it. This is the third security relaxation measure near Cheongwadae under the Moon Jae-in administration, following the opening of the road in front of Cheongwadae in 2017 and the opening of the Inwangsan trail in 2018. / Reporter Kim Hyun-min kimhyun81@
