The Rooftop Garden of Government Sejong Complex to Open in Phases Starting Tomorrow
Strengthened Quarantine Measures for Safe Viewing... Pilot Operation of Mobile Reservation Service
[Asia Economy Reporter Jo In-kyung] The Government Complex Management Headquarters of the Ministry of the Interior and Safety announced on the 1st that it will gradually reopen the rooftop garden of the Government Sejong Complex, which had been closed to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19), starting from the 2nd.
This month, the garden will be open three times a day (10:00, 14:00, 15:00) from Monday to Friday (excluding weekends), and depending on the COVID-19 situation, in December it plans to expand to a second phase with five weekday openings (10:00, 11:00, 14:00, 15:00, 16:00) and weekend openings from 10:00 to 17:00.
Visits to the rooftop garden will be operated by reservation, with online advance reservations (up to 50 people per session via the Government Complex Management Headquarters website reservation system) and on-site registration running concurrently.
Visitors to the rooftop garden must wear masks at all times, and thermal cameras, thermometers, and hand sanitizers will be provided to ensure thorough quarantine management.
Additionally, to reduce congestion along the viewing routes, visitors will be admitted sequentially while observing social distancing (no more than 10 people, maintaining 2 meters distance).
