People Power Party Completes Media Special Committee Formation... Kim Geun-sik, Park Yong-chan, and Lee In-cheol Join
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Ji-eun] On the 29th, the People Power Party appointed three individuals as vice chairpersons of the Media Special Committee: Professor Kim Geun-sik of Gyeongnam National University (Chairman of the People Power Party Songpa-byeong District Committee in Seoul), former MBC anchor Park Yong-chan (Chairman of the Yeongdeungpo-eul District Committee in Seoul), and lawyer Lee In-cheol (former director of the Korea Broadcasting Culture Promotion Agency).
The special committee members consist of seven people, including former Yeouido Institute Deputy Director Cho Cheong-rae, Kim Cheol-geun (Chairman of the Gangseo-gu-byeong District Committee in Seoul), Kim Kyung-dae (Adjunct Professor in the Department of Police Administration at Dongguk University), Kang Bo-young (Adjunct Professor at the Graduate School of Media and Culture Convergence at Sungkyunkwan University), and Kim Bo-ram (CEO of the content division at Cyclops).
The Media Special Committee has established a separate legal support team within the committee to build a real-time response system for various media-related issues. The head of the legal support team will be lawyer Lee Kyung-hwan, who is the chairman of the Goyang-si-gap District Committee in Gyeonggi Province.
