[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) is conducting the '2020 Gwanak Youth Network Online Capacity Building Education,' which enables youth to take the lead in discovering and proposing agendas related to youth issues and policies.
Any youth interested in the Gwanak Youth Network committee and activities can freely watch the lectures anytime and anywhere through the YouTube channel ‘Live Gwanak’ without a separate application.
The education consists of a total of five sessions, with one video lecture uploaded every Thursday from October 22 to November 19. The content is rich and relatable not only for committee members participating in the youth network but also for all young people living in this era.
First, in the prologue video, the ‘Gwanak Youth Network executives’ appear directly to share their reasons for becoming youth network members and their past activities.
The instructors include Kim Sangcheol, Planning Committee Member (Seoul Citizens’ Finance Network), Seo Bokkyung, Senior Researcher (Hyundai Political Research Institute), Shim Gyuwon, Adjunct Professor (Kyungbok University), and Kim Jiseonani, Co-Chairperson (Seoul Youth Policy Network). They deliver lectures on various topics such as ▲budget and projects ▲debate and rhetoric ▲youth participation.
In particular, the second lecture on November 5 will be broadcast live from 7 p.m. on the YouTube channel ‘Live Gwanak’ under the theme of youth change, with a real-time Q&A session through the chat window with viewers.
