Pohang City Holds Diverse Online and Offline Special Lectures at Youth Center... Events Aligned with Youth Week
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Park Dong-wook] Pohang City in Gyeongbuk announced on the 27th that it will hold the 2020 Pohang Youth Week event both online and offline from November 4 to 7 at the Youth Center under the slogan "We Are, Bright Blue Youth."
The Youth Center, an affiliate of Pohang City, will conduct an online program featuring a "Youth Financial Management Special Lecture" on the first day, followed by a "Wise Social Life Special Lecture" on the 5th. Offline programs include "Everyone Escapes Tone Deafness" on the 6th and "Youth Talk Concert with Kim Jae-wook" on the 7th.
On the 4th and 5th, special lectures will be broadcast live online through the YouTube channel "Pohang Youth Center." All events are open to youth aged 15 to under 39 who reside or are active in Pohang.
Lee Deok-hee, Director of the Job Economy and Labor Division, stated, "Since this event provides youth with opportunities to challenge new fields and develop themselves, we hope for active participation in this Pohang Youth Week event."

Meanwhile, the Pohang Youth Center has established and operates a non-face-to-face dedicated studio in preparation for infectious diseases such as COVID-19. Since September, the one-day Youth School and the regular second half Youth School courses have also been conducted online, receiving positive responses from young people.
