70s and 80s Men and Women Who Received Flu Vaccine in Daegu Die... Death Toll Rises to 5

According to Daegu City on the 24th, an man in his 80s who received a flu shot at a clinic in Dong-gu on the morning of the 19th was transported to the emergency room due to respiratory distress around 1 a.m. on the 22nd and was pronounced dead at 1:22 a.m., about 20 minutes later.
It was reported that this man had been complaining of respiratory distress and pain since the morning of the 21st, before being moved to the emergency room. The vaccine administered was 'Fluplus Tetra Prefilled Syringe' by LG Chem Ltd., supplied by the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency for free vaccination of the elderly. This vaccine is not a product suspected of exposure to room temperature during distribution nor one in which white particles were detected.
A woman in her 70s who received the vaccine shot at a clinic in Suseong-gu on the morning of the 19th was found by her family in a state of apnea at her home around 7:59 a.m. on the 23rd. She was pronounced dead at the hospital at 8:07 a.m. that day.
