LGU+ "Home Concert 'DaehangnoLive' Surpasses 250,000 Viewers"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Heung-soon] LG Uplus announced on the 21st that the viewership of 'DaehakroLive,' which provides representative Daehakro performance content such as plays and musicals through IPTV 'U+tv' and mobile media platform 'U+Mobiletv,' has surpassed 250,000.
Since May, LG Uplus has produced a total of 24 performances, one each week, including representative Daehakro plays and musicals under the concept of 'Performances Coming Home' for six months, offering them free of charge through U+tv and U+Mobiletv. This service was planned in collaboration with the Seoul Theater Association, Korea Musical Association, and Korea Performance Producers Association to support the performance industry struggling due to the impact of COVID-19.
DaehakroLive performances include ▲ the play Dramatic One Night, which attracted 600,000 offline viewers ▲ Daehakro’s representative musical Prison ▲ children’s musical Dinosaur Taru ▲ musical Chef, which showcases cooking through beatboxing and b-boying ▲ and the musical Fantastic, which won the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism’s Grand Prize. At the end of this month, various cultural performances by emerging artists will be presented in collaboration with the Arts Management Support Center.
