Appointed by Mokpo Mayor Kim Jong-sik, Governor Kim expressed his gratitude through SNS along with a photo of a signboard containing the phrase ‘Thank You, Essential Workers.’
This campaign was launched to convey thanks and support to workers who provide essential services to society in fields such as care, delivery, medical, transportation services, and environment, who must perform face-to-face labor due to the nature of their work despite the COVID-19 situation.
Governor Kim San said, “I feel grateful for the hard work of essential workers,” and “I hope this campaign will serve as an opportunity to re-highlight their efforts.”
