Shinhyup Supports Vulnerable Groups for Winter "Heating and Cold-Weather Supplies Delivered to Over 7,000 Households"
Employees of the Credit Union Social Contribution Foundation are taking a commemorative photo after holding the 'Credit Union Warm World Sharing Campaign,' delivering heating and cold protection supplies to vulnerable households.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyo-jin] The Credit Union Social Contribution Foundation announced on the 21st that it will conduct the ‘Credit Union Warm World Sharing Campaign’ until the 13th of next month to help vulnerable groups endure the cold winter warmly.
During the campaign period, 628 credit unions nationwide plan to provide various heating supplies such as blankets, electric mats, and briquettes to about 7,000 vulnerable households and social welfare facilities. Additionally, 164 credit unions will deliver 5,500 ‘Eobuba Boxes’ containing daily necessities and food items to marginalized groups in need within their respective regions.
As part of the campaign, the foundation’s executives and staff made 50 ‘Eobuba Boxes’ at the Credit Union Central Training Institute located in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon, and delivered them to the Daejeon Metropolitan City Senior Welfare Center, adding significance to the effort.
