According to Gwangju Metropolitan City on the 21st, Mr. A, who arrived from Myanmar the previous day, tested positive for COVID-19.
Upon arrival in Gwangju, he was immediately placed in facility quarantine at the Gwangju Fire Academy, and there are no additional movement paths or contacts, according to the city.
Of the 503 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Gwangju to date, 7 are currently receiving treatment, 493 have recovered and been discharged, and 3 have died.
