Create a Dance Video Featuring Agricultural Products of Gokseong-gun and Win Abundant Prizes!
[Gokseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Gokseong County in Jeonnam announced on the 19th that it is conducting the ‘Yojolboktong Gokseong Baeksemi Dance Dance Festival’ video event together with Seokgok Nonghyup until December 24.
This event was promoted jointly by Gokseong County, the National Agricultural Cooperative Federation, and Seokgok Nonghyup to share joy with the public who are mentally and physically exhausted due to the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic.
Participants can create cheerful dance videos themed around agricultural products from Gokseong County and upload them to the Seokgok Nonghyup YouTube channel. Rankings will be determined based on the number of YouTube ‘likes’ as of the deadline, and Baeksemi rice and taro are prepared as prizes.
Interestingly, a compact car will be awarded not to the first place but to the third place.
Regarding this, the organizers said, “You can live without a car, but you cannot live without rice. This means rice is more important.”
Also, there is no need to be disappointed if you do not rank. The first 310 people on a first-come, first-served basis will also receive Gokseong Baeksemi rice and Gokseong Baekse Taro Soup.
For more details about the event, search the Seokgok Nonghyup YouTube channel ‘The rice purchased by the president, Gokseong Baeksemi’ or check after registering on the Seokgok Nonghyup website.
A county official said, “We hope everyone can feel some joy through this event during these difficult times due to COVID-19,” and urged many people to participate.
