[Photo] Mother and Daughter Reunite After 44 Years
Lee Eungsun (mother), who was separated from her family 44 years ago and adopted to the United States, is removing her mask on the morning of the 15th at the Missing Persons Family Support Center of the Dongdaemun-gu Police Agency in Seoul to have a video call with Yoon Sang-ae (American name Dennis McCarty).
This reunion is the first case of confirming biological relationships with families in Korea by collecting and analyzing the adoptee's DNA at overseas diplomatic missions through the "Overseas Korean Adoptee Family Search" system.
