John Kelly, Former Chief of Staff, "Trump Is a Flawed Person"
[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Chae-eun] Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly described President Donald Trump as "the most flawed person."
According to CNN on the 16th (local time), Kelly told friends, "I was shocked by how deeply dishonest President Trump was," adding, "What was most pathetic was that every relationship (Trump formed) was essentially transactional." He especially added, "He is the most flawed person I have ever met in my life."
Kelly served as Secretary of Homeland Security starting in January 2017 with the launch of the Trump administration, then moved to White House Chief of Staff after six months, serving closely with President Trump until January last year. He was also known to have advised Trump, "If you hire yes-men, you will be impeached."
