Gwanak-gu University Student Themed Toktok Mentoring Additional Recruitment of Participating Clubs
A Special Meeting Between University Clubs and Local Youth in Various Fields Such as Culture, Arts, and Volunteering... Participating University Clubs Plan and Implement Their Own Programs
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) is additionally recruiting university student clubs to participate in the themed Talk-Talk mentoring program, a talent donation project, until the 21st.
The Talk-Talk mentoring program is a talent donation project in which university student clubs active in various fields such as arts, culture, and academics provide customized, themed mentoring to local youth, helping them develop healthy hobbies and proper character formation.
For university students, it offers opportunities to gain social experience and cultivate a spirit of volunteerism, with volunteer hours recognized. For youth, it supports healthy hobbies and proper character development, contributing to the realization of a community where people live together harmoniously.
University student clubs wishing to participate can download the submission form from the Gwanak-gu Office website (News & Notices → Gwanak News) and submit it via email (hyejin9377@ga.go.kr) by the 21st.
After selecting participating university student clubs, the district office will accept applications on a first-come, first-served basis from local elementary, middle, and high schools as well as community child centers, complete the matching process, and start activities from November.
The mentoring operation and lesson content will be conducted through programs planned by the university student clubs themselves. Participating mentors will receive budget support of up to 1 million KRW per program and a certificate confirming their volunteer (educational) activities.
The district expects that through the mentoring project, students’ diverse learning needs will be met and career planning will be supported, contributing to the resolution of learning imbalances.
