Expected to become Jeju’s top landmark, Dream Tower is a mega complex resort with 6 basement floors, 38 above-ground floors (height 169m), and an area of 303,737㎡. The drills and inspections were carried out ahead of the completion review scheduled for this month.
On this day, Jeju Fire Station conducted rescue training using a special vehicle (articulated ladder truck) and internal entry training through the ‘firefighter entry window.’ In addition, alongside inspections of major fire equipment, the training and inspections included checking evacuation spaces, gondola locations, special evacuation stairs, emergency elevators, rescue teams, and slides for evacuation facilities to prepare for actual on-site response.

Kim Young-ho, Chief of Jeju Fire Station, stated, “As it is the largest building in the province, we are making every effort to ensure safety management,” and added, “We will continue to conduct regular training with special vehicles such as articulated ladder trucks and thoroughly inspect fire facilities.”
