[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seongap) signed a "Lifelong Education Exchange and Cooperation Agreement" with Konkuk University Future Knowledge Education Center on the 13th to revitalize lifelong education in the region.
This agreement was prepared to provide high-quality lifelong learning opportunities to residents by sharing and cooperating on human and material resources possessed by both institutions.
The main contents of the agreement include ▲ development and operation of various lifelong learning programs linking the university and local community ▲ cooperation in the field of lifelong education through mutual exchange of human and material resources and information.
District Mayor Kim Seongap said, "We expect to provide high-quality lifelong learning to residents through cooperation with universities in the district," and added, "We will strive to become a lifelong learning city by expanding residents' learning areas."
This year, in the second half, the district will operate three lifelong learning programs linked with universities: ▲ ‘Healing Horticulture’ using horticultural plants ▲ real estate course ‘Commercial Area Location Analysis for Store Investment’ ▲ humanities course ‘Adult Journey to the West’.
