Gwangju Buk-gu to Operate Gender Equality Academy Until the 12th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju Metropolitan City (District Mayor Moon In) announced on the 15th that it will operate the 2020 Gender Equality Academy until the 12th of next month to promote the spread of a gender-equal culture.
Under the theme "Add Equality! Subtract Discrimination! Add Balance to the World!", this academy was prepared to raise awareness of gender equality through professional education.
The lectures will be held over a total of four sessions covering topics such as ▲ Gender in daily life and family ▲ Wise home-stay life ▲ Happy retirement future planning ▲ Equality, a story for all of us, focusing on forming a healthy and equal family culture.
Residents who wish to participate in the lectures can visit the Sihwa Cultural Village Culture Center at 10 a.m. every Thursday, and it is also possible to watch live on the Gwangju Buk-gu Office YouTube channel on the day of the education.
Buk-gu plans to strictly adhere to quarantine rules such as temperature checks before entry, filling out entry logs, and social distancing to prevent COVID-19 during the education sessions.
