Kim pointed out the contradiction of Kim Jong-un, who "expects the day to clasp hands," while not giving up military power, calling it "nonsense," as North Korea showcased its enhanced new intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) and submarine-launched ballistic missiles (SLBMs) to demonstrate its strength.
She continued, "Our citizens have lost their lives. North Korea's military threat is no longer just a warning but a real threat," reiterating criticism of North Korea's atrocities by referencing the death of a public official killed by North Korean forces.
She also warned about the "declaration to end the war," saying, "Even after our citizens were brutally killed, the president seemed to treat the declaration to end the war as everything." She urged, "How long will the government chase the illusion of a declaration to end the war without protecting our people? I hope the president remembers that a one-sided declaration to end the war without guaranteeing true peace and the safety of the people is nothing but deceiving the public."

On his Facebook page that day, Tae said, "What we feared has come true," criticizing North Korea for "ultimately unveiling new strategic weapons as mentioned by Kim Jong-un at the end of last year," highlighting North Korea's unchanging stance.
He evaluated, "North Korea revealed vehicles capable of launching ICBMs as is, along with extended missile bodies and warhead sections, demonstrating its capability to shorten launch time toward the U.S. and to simultaneously strike Washington and New York with nuclear weapons."
He added, "This parade is making our government ponder more deeply about whether to choose between North Korea's 'Our Nation Itself' and the 'South Korea-U.S. alliance.' Furthermore, it is aimed at strengthening internal unity and securing a more advantageous position in negotiations expected to begin after the U.S. presidential election."
Tae criticized former President Moon Jae-in's "declaration to end the war," stating, "Since the April 27 Panmunjom Declaration, North Korea's nuclear forces have been proven to be advanced and modernized," and argued, "Moon Jae-in's newly proposed 'declaration to end the war first, followed by denuclearization' faces new challenges."
He also assessed Kim Jong-un's changed demeanor, noting that at the parade, Kim softened aggressive terms like 'nuclear-armed state' and 'U.S. imperialism' to expressions such as 'war deterrent' and 'aggressor forces,' and showed red eyes while expressing apologies and gratitude to North Korean citizens.

Now, they are broadcasting Kim Jong-un's domestic and international propaganda speech from the Workers' Party founding anniversary parade live on our country's channels," criticizing the government.
He added, "Does the Moon Jae-in administration still harbor regrets toward North Korea, which brutally shot our citizens and offers no response or echo?"
