Lee Ho-seung, the Blue House Chief Economic Secretary, analyzed during a briefing at the Chuncheon Press Center on the afternoon of the 7th, "Exports recorded a positive growth for the first time in September. Exports in July, August, and September have shown a considerably steady trend."
Unlike major countries facing economic difficulties amid the COVID-19 situation, South Korea is showing signs of recovery.
Lee explained, "From June, July, August to July, August, September, the export market conditions improved as the United States, China, Europe, and Southeast Asia lifted lockdowns."
He added, "Shipbuilding recorded the world's highest order volume in July, August, and September, and the automobile market share in the U.S. reached its highest level in several years. In terms of production volume, it ranked fourth in the world."
