Boseong-gun Provides 200,000 Won for Pregnant Women's Health Management Expenses
[Boseong=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Chunsu] Boseong-gun, Jeollanam-do announced on the 7th that it will provide 200,000 KRW in health management expenses per pregnant woman to support healthy childbirth for pregnant women, who are a high-risk vulnerable group for COVID-19 infection.
This support fund, implemented as part of Jeollanam-do's 2nd Emergency Livelihood Support Measures, targets pregnant women residing in Boseong-gun as of September 24. Applications can be made by the pregnant woman or her spouse by visiting the public health center or via mail, fax, or e-mail.
Payments will be made in two installments on the 14th and 22nd after eligibility verification. Pregnant women registered at the public health center only need to submit the application form between the 6th and 8th of this month, while unregistered pregnant women must submit the application along with related documents between the 12th and 16th.
The health management expenses for pregnant women cannot be combined with the Child Special Care Support Fund (government support for preschool children).
