Lotte Chilsung Launches Italian Wine 'Terre di Mario Red'
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Seon-ae] Lotte Chilsung Beverage announced on the 7th that it will launch the Italian wine "Terre Di Mario Red".
Established in 2015, the winery "Progetti Agricoli," known for combining traditional Italian wine production methods with modern technology and various collaborations tailored to changing trends, produces "Terre Di Mario Red." This red wine is a blend of indigenous Italian grape varieties representing the entire country, including Primitivo, Sangiovese, Negroamaro, and Montepulciano, with an alcohol content of 13%.
Characterized by its intense deep ruby color, this wine features a mild acidity, rounded and smooth tannins on the palate, and a harmonious blend of sweet ripe cherry aroma and oak scent. It pairs well with steak, pasta, and cheese.
A representative from Lotte Chilsung Beverage’s wine division said, "We are pleased to newly introduce 'Terre Di Mario Red,' which means 'Playground of Angels.' During these difficult times due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we hope 'Terre Di Mario Red' can offer a small comfort, and we have prepared a discount event to coincide with the launch."
