During the Chuseok holiday period, a cluster infection of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) occurred at Buk Seoul Dream Church in Gangbuk-gu, Seoul. The Seoul city government announced that the pastor of Buk Seoul Dream Church was first confirmed positive on the 3rd, followed by three additional confirmed cases on the 4th, including another pastor and family members, bringing the total number of related confirmed cases to four. Epidemiological investigation revealed that the church switched to online services after social distancing level 2 was implemented, but gatherings were held for filming the online services, and some attendees were found to have insufficient mask-wearing.
