The reception will be conducted strictly following quarantine rules such as wearing masks, checking body temperature, and filling out visitor logs.
Gwangju City plans to select preliminary tenants in mid-December, and the selected tenants will be individually notified by the management office of the respective housing for contract signing.
Meanwhile, Hanam Jugong in Gwangsan-gu and Gakhwa Jugong in Buk-gu were jointly proposed by Gwangju City and the Korea Land and Housing Corporation Gwangju Jeonnam Regional Headquarters to the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, and were selected this year as pilot sites for the ‘Public Rental Housing Green Remodeling Project.’
The single household type of the green remodeling project is supplied to university students and the housing vulnerable (such as persons with disabilities and the elderly) after customized remodeling, while the household integration type combines two vacant units (26㎡ each) into one (52㎡) to supply to multi-child families, etc.
These houses have enhanced storage and expanded kitchen furniture for the convenience of tenants. Additionally, to save energy, boilers and lighting were replaced with high-efficiency products, and walls and other surfaces were finished with eco-friendly materials to create a pleasant living environment.
