[Asia Economy Reporter Heo Midam] In Yongin City, Gyeonggi Province, 13 additional COVID-19 cases were confirmed over the four-day Chuseok holiday (September 30 to October 1). Among them, 9 are students and family members from Suji District's Daeji High School and Jukjeon High School, while the remaining 4 are community infections from contacts with confirmed cases in other regions.
According to the city on the 3rd, on the 30th, A (Yongin-369), a student at Daeji High School, was confirmed positive for COVID-19. Subsequently, on October 1, three students from the same school (Yongin-373, 374, 375) and two students from Jukjeon High School (Yongin-376, 377) were also confirmed positive.
On the 2nd, two family members (Yongin-378, 379) of the Yongin-373 patient, a Daeji High School student, were confirmed positive, followed by an additional Daeji High School student (Yongin-381) testing positive on the 3rd.
Separately, from September 30 to October 3, four more COVID-19 cases (Yongin-370, 371, 372, 380) were registered as community infections due to contact with confirmed cases inside and outside the jurisdiction.
