11st, Online Alley Travel Event to Enjoy from Home
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] 11st announced on the 29th that it will hold a ‘Virtual Alley Tour’ special exhibition and events throughout October.
In collaboration with the Korea Tourism Organization, 11st selected seven famous alleys nationwide and presented a special exhibition featuring engaging content and representative local delicacies from each area. The popular alleys introduced include ▲Seoul Gyeongchun Line Forest Trail ▲Daejeon Sojedong ▲Incheon Gaehangno ▲Gwangju Cheongchun Balsan Village ▲Busan Sanmandi ▲Yeosu Goso-dong ▲Gangneung Myeongju-dong, along with their signature local eateries.
The special exhibition is designed with vivid content, allowing customers to order representative local delicacies from 11st and enjoy them at home. For example, in the Incheon area, it introduces leisurely spots such as ‘Potal,’ a cafe made from a 100-year-old wooden house on Gaehangno, and ‘Gwandong Gallery,’ where the scent of 90-year-old wood lingers, as well as local delicacies from ‘Samho Altang,’ a restaurant with 30 years of experience.
Through the special exhibition, 11st offers over 100 food products, including those from the featured eateries and other representative local foods. Seoul’s ‘Ssungssung Donkatsu’ is exclusively launched on 11st starting at 27,900 KRW, Daejeon’s ‘Happy Gomtang’ beef bone soup is priced at 11,140 KRW, and Busan’s ‘Samihun Galbitang’ beef rib soup starts at 11,000 KRW.
There will also be a customer participation event called ‘Our Neighborhood Alley Pride Contest,’ where customers can upload photos and stories of the alleys (neighborhoods) outside their windows from home between November 6 and 31. Winners will be selected by lottery to receive generous prizes such as the Galaxy Note20 Ultra, Kodak Mini Shot Combo 2, and Kodak Film Toy Camera. Additionally, a daily random draw game will be held on the event page throughout October.
Discount coupons have been prepared for customers who increasingly shop online. Throughout October, customers who purchase over 20,000 KRW will receive a 2,000 KRW discount coupon, and VIP customers will be issued a 4,000 KRW discount coupon for purchases over 50,000 KRW. An additional 11% discount coupon exclusive to 11st Shinhan Card users will also be issued. There are also exclusive coupons for ‘Emart Mall,’ ‘Homeplus,’ and ‘GS Fresh’ in the 11st Today’s Grocery Shopping section. Additional discount coupons will be provided for new 11st customers.
