Korea Expressway Corporation Gyeonggi Gwangju Branch announced on the 28th that the Icheon (Hanam) Rest Area has recently established and is implementing an emergency response plan for the Chuseok holiday in response to the resurgence of COVID-19.
First, the Icheon (Hanam) Rest Area operates a 'sticker' system to easily identify customers who have completed temperature checks.
During the holiday period, customers who complete temperature checks and register their information at one restaurant will be given a sticker to conveniently use multiple stores.
Additionally, the Icheon (Hanam) Rest Area places staff wearing vests throughout the area to support proper social distancing among customers.
To this end, the Expressway Corporation is also considering hiring additional personnel.
