[Asia Economy Reporter Choi Eun-young] Jo Eun-san, who caused a sensation by posting the "Seven Proposals for Reform" criticizing the government under the pen name "Jinin (塵人) Jo Eun-san" on the Blue House National Petition website last August, criticized Yoo Si-min, chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation (61), saying, "Did you mean to write 'gyegan (鷄姦)' monarch but made a typo?"
On the 26th, Jo said on his blog, "An enlightened monarch... Did you make a typo intending to write 'gyegan (鷄姦, an act like male-to-male intercourse)' monarch and meet with the North to have a wild time biting, sucking, and rubbing each other?"
He continued, "Their atrocities of shooting civilians adrift at sea with rifle bullets have completely disappeared, and once again, all sorts of bugs are swarming and attaching their suckers to the benevolent General's apology," adding, "I wonder how those romantics during the inter-Korean summits, who made a fuss saying the young murderer was handsome and had a cute smiling face, are viewing this situation now."
Meanwhile, Jo also urged the People Power Party and opposition lawmakers, saying, "Discuss what needs to be discussed and pursue what needs to be pursued. You have that responsibility," but added, "However, after time passes, please do not engage in the despicable act of politically exploiting the grief of the bereaved families to the very end."
Earlier, Yoo Si-min, chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation (61), evaluated at a debate on the 25th regarding North Korean Supreme Leader Kim Jong-un's apology through a notification, saying, "It is good news in that there has been some progress in what we hoped for," and described him as "an enlightened monarch."
The opposition also launched strong criticism against Yoo's remarks. Hong Joon-pyo, an independent lawmaker (65), criticized, "He is like President Syngman Rhee, who ruined the state surrounded by sycophants at the end of the Liberal Party era," and Professor Kim Geun-sik of Kyungnam University pointed out, "The worst tyrant made a mere apology as a pretext, but the original act has not disappeared, and calling Kim Jong-un an enlightened monarch does not erase his atrocities."
