Gyeonggi-do Launches Legal Civil Petition KakaoTalk Notification Service Starting Next Month on the 5th
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province will launch a Kakao AlimTalk service starting from the 5th of next month that provides real-time information and progress updates on statutory civil complaints.
This service aims to resolve citizens' curiosity about which stage their submitted statutory civil complaints are currently in.
Statutory civil complaints refer to permits, registrations, reports, applications, and certification requests processed according to laws and regulations.
The Kakao AlimTalk service does not require users to add friends separately; once a complaint is submitted, the entire process from receipt to completion is guided through notification messages.
For residents who do not use smartphones or KakaoTalk services, the service will continue to be provided via text messages as before.
The province plans to expand the AlimTalk service to various fields in the future, including notifications of application results for provincial benefit projects such as student loan interest support programs, membership registration, and education application alerts.
Nam Yoon-soo, Director of the Open Civil Complaints Office of the province, stated, "We expect the Kakao AlimTalk service to help enhance communication with residents and provide highly reliable civil complaint services."
