Hyundai Kia Motors Accelerates Cloud Talent Recruitment... Hiring New Graduates and Experienced Professionals
[Asia Economy Reporter Suyeon Woo] Hyundai Kia Motors is launching a recruitment drive to select outstanding talent with cloud technology capabilities.
On the 27th, Hyundai Kia Motors announced through each company's recruitment website that it will begin hiring new and experienced employees in a total of three areas: ▲ Mobility Service IT Planning ▲ Cloud Platform Design/Development ▲ Cloud IT Service Development.
The positions being recruited include ▲ Cloud Architect ▲ S/W Developer ▲ PM (Product Manager), with the hiring scale at the level of several dozen people.
Prior to this recruitment, Hyundai Kia Motors also carried out a related organizational restructuring. This was to strengthen cloud technology competitiveness to a global top level and accelerate the transition to a smart mobility service company.
The existing ICT Technology Business Division was renamed the Cloud Technology Business Division, and the division was reorganized into three organizations based on core functions: ▲ Car Cloud Service Development Office ▲ Cloud Architecture Office ▲ Car Cloud Platform Development Center. Based on an in-house development-centered culture, this allows organization members to focus on enhancing technical expertise in each field and maximizes collaboration synergy between organizations.
Through this, it is expected not only to establish an innovative cloud environment but also to provide customers with advanced smart mobility services.
Hyundai Kia Motors plans to continuously recruit outstanding talent related to cloud technology in the future. In addition to further developing ‘Developers,’ a vehicle data open platform launched in October last year, a significant portion of businesses such as connectivity, mobility, AI, and big data will be operated on an in-house cloud basis, steadily increasing the demand for related personnel.
