Jeong Munguk, President of Orange Life, Participates in 'Flower Bucket Challenge' to Overcome COVID-19
Next Participant:
Nick Holidge Appointed as CEO of Korea Roche
[Asia Economy Reporter Ki Ha-young] Orange Life announced on the 25th that CEO Jung Moon-guk participated in the 'Flower Bucket Challenge' campaign to help flower farmers struggling due to the spread of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19).
The Flower Bucket Challenge is a relay public campaign that has been underway since early this year to overcome COVID-19. Those nominated to participate purchase flowers and plants from flower farms, deliver them to welfare facilities, and recommend the next participant. CEO Jung joined this campaign upon the recommendation of Kim Ki-hong, Chairman of JB Financial Group, and delivered air-purifying plants purchased from the Seoul Flower Cooperative to 30 regional children's centers in Seoul, Incheon, and Gyeonggi through the nonprofit public foundation under Orange Hope Foundation.
CEO Jung nominated Nick Horridge, CEO of Roche Korea, as the next participant, saying, "I hope this campaign participation will provide even a small help to flower farmers who are facing great difficulties due to decreased demand caused by the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic. I hope COVID-19 will end soon so that we can regain our precious daily lives and our children can freely play under the clear autumn sky."
