Citibank to Decide Next CEO on the 7th of Next Month
[Asia Economy Reporter Minyoung Kim] The next president of Citibank Korea will be decided on the 7th of next month.
On the 25th, Citibank held the first Executive Candidate Recommendation Committee meeting to review multiple candidates for the next president. The second committee meeting will be held on the 7th of next month to make the final recommendation of one candidate. Afterwards, the bank plans to finalize the appointment through the shareholders' meeting and the board of directors.
Citibank stated, "We have decided not to disclose the list of candidates."

Previously, on August 8th, the current president Park Jin-hoe decided to step down and not seek a third term. Park, who took office in October 2014 as Citibank's second president, will serve until the 27th of next month.
