View original image[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Ki-dong] The Mokpo E-Land Senior Welfare Center (Director Kang Ju-ho), operated by the social welfare corporation E-Land Welfare Foundation (Chairman Park Sung-kyung), announced that it will hold the Chuseok event "THE Love Sharing" for elderly living alone from the 23rd to the 25th for three days.
This Chuseok sharing event is conducted through fundraising on Naver Happy Bean and donations from many supporters who contributed as anonymous angels to the welfare center.
In particular, a Love KIT consisting of products such as fruit, kimchi, and side dishes to make the Chuseok holiday abundant will be prepared for 160 socially isolated elderly living alone in the region who have no family visiting during the Chuseok holiday. Care workers will personally visit the elderly to deliver the kits and practice sharing.
Director Kang Ju-ho said, "Through this Chuseok Love Sharing event, we hope that the elderly living alone in the region will be relieved from the emotional isolation caused by the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and have a rich and warm Chuseok holiday." He added, "Going forward, Mokpo E-Land Senior Welfare Center will do its best to serve and support elderly people who are isolated and in need."
