The Cultural Heritage Night Tour is a program to enjoy cultural heritage at night, and Suncheon has been selected for six consecutive years since 2016. The Cultural Heritage Night Tour themed "Revival of Suncheonbu Eupseong" secured the largest budget among Jeonnam cities and counties with a total project cost of 800 million KRW.
The World Heritage Utilization program, centered on Seonamsa Temple, registered as "Sansa, Korean Mountain Monastic Sites," will hold a 3rd anniversary event of the registration and operate world heritage education programs, with cultural heritage-centered programs unfolding throughout the year.
In the Traditional Mountain Temple Cultural Heritage Utilization project, "Opening the Millennium Gate of Jogyesan" was selected. This project is conducted at Songgwangsa Temple and links the Cultural Heritage Night Tour night exploration with a cultural heritage stamp tour.
The Hyanggyo·Seowon Utilization project centers on Suncheon Hyanggyo and aims to promote exchange between traditional and modern culture. It is conducted through experiences such as humanities lectures, old map drawing, and the Jinsa examination.
Additionally, two projects including "A Modern Cultural Heritage Outing with Missionaries" were selected as Vivid Cultural Heritage Utilization projects.
