Gwangjin-gu Introduces Eco-Friendly Small Electric Road Surface Cleaning Vehicles
No Exhaust Emissions and Low Fuel Costs... Easy Cleaning in Narrow Alleyways
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Seon-gap) has introduced an eco-friendly "small electric street sweeper" to create a clean and pleasant residential environment.
On the 22nd, Gwangjin-gu held a test drive ceremony for the electric street sweeper attended by Mayor Kim Seon-gap and district officials, and began full-scale operation.
The newly introduced electric street sweeper has the advantages of producing no exhaust emissions, low fuel costs, and operating with an electric motor, resulting in low noise during driving and work.
Additionally, the small size of the sweeper makes it easy to clean narrow alleys and side streets where conventional street sweepers have difficulty accessing. The rotating cleaning brush installed at the front of the vehicle strongly sucks up trash and dust, and the water spray function helps reduce dust generation.
Charging is easy with a standard 220V outlet, and one full charge allows for 6 to 8 hours of operation.
