Seodaemun-gu Selected for 2 Living SOC Complex Projects, Secures 3.45 Billion KRW in National Funding
[Asia Economy Reporter Jongil Park] Seodaemun-gu (Mayor Moon Seok-jin) proposed two living SOC complex projects to the government to improve the quality of life for residents, and recently, both projects were selected, securing 3.45 billion KRW in national funding.
The selected projects are the "Bukgajwa 2-dong Complex Building" and the "Sinchon-dong Community Center Complex." These buildings have been in use for over 30 years and have become outdated, necessitating facility improvements.
The "Bukgajwa 2-dong Complex Building" will be constructed as a resident cultural welfare facility housing the community center, autonomous hall, residential parking lot, and living culture center.
Through the "Sinchon-dong Community Center Complex Project," the community center, public parking lot, and living culture center will be expanded and improved, while also constructing happy housing complexes for residents and nearby university students.
The district conducted resident demand surveys and status investigations to ensure the selection of these two projects, and based on this, prepared the application to secure national funding for the living SOC complex facilities.
Last year, the district was also selected for the living SOC complex project with the family center construction plan, achieving results for two consecutive years.
