Yoo Si-min Resumes 'Alileo' Broadcast... Book Reviews Instead of Political Commentary
[Asia Economy Reporter Wondara] Yoo Si-min, chairman of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation, is resuming his YouTube broadcast 'Alileo.' This comes five months after Yoo announced the suspension of his political commentary in April.
A representative of the Roh Moo-hyun Foundation stated on the 21st, "Chairman Yoo plans to resume the YouTube broadcast after the Chuseok holiday," adding, "It will take the form of book reviews together with lawyer Jo Su-jin." The broadcast is expected to continue once a week for about 5 to 6 months.
Previously, Chairman Yoo stopped broadcasting right after the general election in April. At that time, Yoo sparked controversy by stating in a broadcast just before the election, "It is not impossible for the pan-progressive camp to secure 180 seats," and during KBS's 4.15 general election vote count broadcast, he declared the suspension of his political commentary, saying, "I am going to stop political commentary now." In his final broadcast on April 17, he also apologized to the defeated Democratic Party candidates, saying, "I am sorry."

Meanwhile, Chairman Yoo was noted as one of the Democratic Party's presidential candidates, appearing in approval rating polls until the end of last year. However, Yoo himself has denied this by sending an official letter to the Central Election Poll Deliberation Commission requesting to be excluded from future presidential candidate opinion polls.
