According to Daegu City on the 20th, a woman in her 40s living in Dalseong-gun, who was classified as a contact of a man in his 70s living in Dalseong-gun confirmed positive on the 3rd after attending the Dongchunghacho business briefing and was under self-quarantine, tested positive in a test conducted before the quarantine was lifted.
Also, a woman in her 70s who had met a man in his 70s from Dalseo-gu, confirmed positive on the 16th during contact testing of attendees of the Dongchunghacho business briefing, was confirmed as a tertiary infection through contact testing.
As of midnight on the 20th, the cumulative number of COVID-19 confirmed cases in Daegu has increased to 7,124 (7,045 local infections, 79 imported cases). At the Dongchunghacho business briefing held in the basement level 1 of a building in Buk-gu, Daegu on the 29th of last month, 27 residents aged 50 to 80 attended, and 26 of them except one were confirmed positive for COVID-19.

This is the 189th COVID-19 death in Daegu, occurring five days after the death of a 91-year-old grandmother on the 14th.
