View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Ji-hee] KOTRA announced on the 20th that it has been conducting the 'Medical Korea Online Export Consultation' for two weeks since the 14th. Through this consultation, KOTRA, together with the Korea Health Industry Development Institute and overseas diplomatic missions, provides overseas business opportunities for domestic medical companies.
A total of 154 companies participated in the event from the fields of medical devices, pharmaceutical bio, digital healthcare, medical services, and K-quarantine. Our companies are consulting with overseas buyers discovered by local trade offices in 20 countries.
In particular, from the 22nd for two days, the '2020 Korea-Thailand Digital Healthcare Roadshow' will be held. Given the Thai government's strong interest in the digital healthcare sector, cooperation plans will be discussed. Korean companies' product exhibitions and online business consultations will also take place.
A web seminar has also been prepared. Domestic medical experts and businesspeople will share the excellence and global competitiveness of the K-medical system, research cases, and market trends. Cooperation programs prepared locally in six countries including China, Thailand, Russia, Azerbaijan, Indonesia, and Chile are also included.
