[Asia Economy Reporter Park Jong-il] Seongdong-gu (Mayor Jeong Won-oh) is operating the ‘Youth Solo Creator Training Course’ to provide young people with professional online content production and utilization skills in line with the trends of the one-person media era.
With the COVID-19 pandemic accelerating the arrival of the new normal era, the culture of video content consumption is rapidly growing.
Accordingly, a specialized training program has been prepared so that young people interested in online video production and content development can acquire professional skills and strengthen their capabilities.
The curriculum includes ▲ one-person media trends ▲ content planning ▲ video shooting, editing, and directing ▲ content marketing strategy development ▲ content production presentation and feedback.
Even after the course ends, production activities will be supported through expert mentoring.
A district official said, “By discovering and supporting creative young solo creators in the region, we aim to contribute to job creation such as employment and startups related to creator professions. The fresh and interesting videos produced by the youth will also be used as promotional materials for the district’s youth policies and activities.”
The recruitment target is young people aged 19 to 39 who reside or are active in Seongdong-gu and are interested in video content.
Applicants who have more than 100 subscribers on their personal media channels will be given preference. Applications can be submitted through the Seongdong-gu website by the 25th.
The final selection announcement will be on the 29th.
The training will be conducted online, with offline practice planned depending on the COVID-19 situation. At the request of the youth, the course will be held every Tuesday and Thursday from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, totaling 8 sessions and 20 hours.
